It was a beautiful day - pleasantly warm with clear blue skies and no wind. It was a beautiful ride, with two thirds being on a flat bike trail.
And it was a short day, as we arrived in the town of St. Augustine around 10:30AM. The first riders into the town assembled on the second floor balcony of the A1A Alehouse and then cheered in the rest of the riders.
While at the Alehouse:
Hance and Anne continued their 'eating across America', with some fish tacos and sesame tuna:
Then it was on to the town St. Augustine Beach for a celebratory group picture:
and then on to the beach itself:
including a celebration of all the women on the ride:
Overall we rode for 35.7 miles at an average speed of 13.2 mph and a maximum of 27 mph with no flats.
Coast to Coast Completed!
