Coast 2 Coast - Day 21 - Seminole Canyon State Park to Camp Clark (Brackettville)

Another day that started with a low overcast and mist, which permitted an early start and a good first half of the ride.

We took advantage of the early start to take a quick look at the Seminole Canyon, which is the highlight of the campground that we stayed at:

But, once underway, there wasn't much to see, with a mist that obscured the more distant views.

So, we motored on to our lunch stop in the CITY of Del Rio (first city since El Paso) and took advantage of shopping at a Walmart prior to our BBQ lunch (brisket sandwiches, of course) at Rudy's of Del Rio:

Then the sun came out for the second half of the ride, which made it hot. But at least the head wind was minimal today. It's our third day of high mileage, so it took us a while, but we arrived at the camp in time for shower and a dinner.

Overall, we went for 73.7 miles, at an average speed of 11.5 mph, and a maximum of 25 mph. We had no flats (7 ride days in a row!) and no Texas dogs, even in Del Rio.
