We're staying at a campground/hotel in the southern Texas hill country, next to the Frio river. It's a beautiful site, and many of the riders decided to choose using their tents, next to the river, rather than the alternative cabins or motel rooms (we stayed in a motel room):
It's a nice river, but with a name like Frio (cold in Spanish, or perhaps even 'frigid'), we decided against tubing the river:

as well as Bloody Mary's for brunch:
No miles, no flats, no dogs. Just rest and recovery.
